The summer season is, sadly, coming to an end, but it’s also the start of the new show season. We were in Fréthun, France a few days ago, and are getting ready for another show, a much larger one, in the eastern part of Belgium over the first week end of October. We are still undecided about two more shows until the end of the year, but final decisions will come in shortly.
In the meantime, we continue to release new items, the latest ones being a 1/144 cockpit detail set for the Mark1 Models Hawker Tempest Mk.V kits. Our Tempest Mk.II conversion kit (also meant for the Mark1 Models kit) is still unfinished in terms of its master, but we still expect this set to be available this year.
Our ‘big’ story this month is the release of our Super Constellation Engine Nacelles set designed to correct the rather poor 1/72 Heller offerings. We expect this set to be quite popular, the Heller kit having been re-released a few times since the early 1980s, and being made available in civilian and military guises.
Our 1/144 and 1/72 aircraft ranges are going to get most of our near future releases, but a few RetroSF items are also soon being cast, while work progresses on future RetroTracks releases.
This all the news for now, Folks. But keep on scale modelling!
