2025 slowly comes to an end.. It has been an interesting year, full of surprises (not all good ones, unfortunately) and as far as RetrokiT is concerned, another busy one with so far 53 new releases. Admitedly, a handful of those were re-releases, but that had not been available for several years. December should bring in our 54th and latest release, a brand new one too, our long-awaited 1/144 AT-AT Cargo Bay Detail Set. We talked about it back in 2021 already and if most of the design work had been done by the end of that year, we could not find the will, the interest, the enthusiasm to complete it there and then..
It is true that with the 50th anniversary of Star Wars coming up in 2027, our interest in the original trilogy is growing back. Do not expect us to broaden our horizon too much, we will remain focussed on the pre-Disney era. Expect some new releases, and probably a handful of re-releases too.
In the meantime, our1/72, 1/100 and 1/144 aircraft are also expected to grow, as will our AFV Chibi range. And there should be a few extra surprises too along the way.
We want to remind our US customers that we are still able to ship SOME items to them, and would advise them to drop us their wish list(s) via e-mail BEFORE ordering online, so that we can ascertain that we can supply them with all they want.
