September Releases…

August is slowly coming to an end, the Expo Air-Terre-Mer in Mons, Belgium, telling us the hectic second ‘half’ of the year is now upon us, with a large number of shows to attend to and a large number of new items still to be released before Telford.  After the recent 11 releases of early August, come three new yellow helpers and two 1/144 aircraft sets, all to be released at the Small Scale Convention in Heiden, Germany.  Those two 1/144 sets are a bit of a departure from our usual RetroWings fare, being designed for a larger than usual subject, the B-47 Stratojet, and furthermore, one of those two sets is taking us into the ‘what if’ realm since it is a conversion kit for the XB-47D variant of this rather elegant warplane.  We’d be interested to hear whether you are interested in seeing more ‘what if’ items in the 1/144 RetroWings catalogue, the list is almost endless for sure!  Let us know what you think, what you’d want!

Stampe Conversion Kit..!

With the release of the 1/72 Azur/Fromm Stampe SV.4 kits, comes the opportunity to model another player of the third Indiana Jones movie, the biplane in which both Dr.Jones escape from the Nazi Germany-bound Zeppelin..!  Here is an early shot of some of the modified Azur/Fromm parts (including the wing that has not been converted yet) that will make up this forthcoming RetroSF conversion kit.  Decals will be included.  Estimated release date is early- to mid-September 2015, possibly in time for the International Small Scale Convention in Heiden, Germany.
