Our next show will be Scalemodel World in Geel, Belgium. A one-day show that we encourage you to visit, for its friendly atmosphere and high level of workmanship on show. We have been trading there for a long time now, it has always well worth being there!

It is a bit early to say what new items we will unveil at this show, so busy our programme of release is… We have just released our latest, if minute, complete kit, a 1/144 Fieseler Fi-103A-1 / Re 4, along with a new Bananaaa! and a handful of 1/144 re-releases. We are aiming for a new Bananaaa! collection for May, one that will include four Bananaaas! including two that have been OOP for a long while and a brand new limited edition one. Still for our RetroSF range, our long OOP set ‘Mr Wolf and Red Hot Redhead’ is coming back, albeit in a slightly re-worked form. In 1/144, we also expect the Hawkeye folded-wings set to be available again that month. All those re-releases are to fulfill requests from some of you, Guys; do not hesitate to ask!

We have just posted on our facebook page images of yet more forthcoming sets, such as the 1/144 Mirage B/N conversion kit and several 1/144 AH-64 bits and bobs.. Follow us on facebook to get the latest info.

First show of the new year for RetrokiT, Euro Model Expo in Lingen, Germany. Always a busy event, it will be nice to see old friends again, some of which we only see yearly at this very show, and meet new ones too of course! This will be the last but one EME event, with the filal, ‘Gold Edition’, taking place in 2025; we already look forward to what the organisers have in mind for the future..

Lots of releases this month, particularly if you are into 1/144 aviation modelling; Three new Tomcat sets and the re-release of all out single-seater Jaguar sets to upgrade or detail your old LS kits. One more Jaguar set remains to be released, the Jaguar M conversion kit which we hope to release later this year, but we have lots of other things planned to be released first, including, a Fieseler Fi-103 A1 / Re 4 (complete kit), a MiG-23UB conversion kit, a Mirage 2000 two-seater conversion kit,… and that’s a few examples for our 1/144 range. New Bananaaas! are coming too, we will also soon re-release an early RetroSF item that’s been requested many times over the past few years, and yet more toon conversion and detail sets.

Following the release in January 2024 of our WWT Brummbar conversion kit, of the 1/144 Phimat/Barax/Barracuda pods set and above all the long-awaited 1/144 Mirage F.1 Two-seater conversion kit, we have embarked in a programme of re-releases of older sets, figures and kits that have been unavailable for one reason or another for some time. February 2024 sees our 1/144 Alpha Jet cockpit detail sets re-surfacing again, timely one could say since Revell have just re-released the kit too!

Coming back soon too are our 1/144 Jaguar cockpit and noses sets, the 1/144 Hawkeye folded-wings set and, in the RetroSF range, the Wolf & Red Hot Redhead set.

All those re-releases are not a sign that we are slowing down any, just a proof that we are constantly listening to our customers and trying to please them. Indeed, we have plenty of new items to still be released this year again, namely some more 1/144 Tomcat bits, yet new Bananaaas! and much more!

So do yourself a favour and drop us a line with your suggestions for future releases and re-relases!

2023 has been a busy year! This 31st of December, a very last new release, our 29th of the year, hits the shelves! We hope you like it! We have yet again a large number of new releases (and a few re-releases too) planned for 2024, plenty of plans and ideas too, making it hard to be more precise at this very early stage. 2023 has been a pretty busy year, with, so far four re-releases (including the much-awaited 1/144 TA-4J conversion kit) and 28 new releases. We expect one more new release to conclude this year’s bounty. Another new Bananaaa!, if you must know..!

The first new releases of 2024 are being cast as I write those few lines. World War Toons fans will soon have a Brummbar conversion kit to deal with, while another long-awaited set, the Mirage F.1 two-seater conversion kit should keep a few 1/144 modellers happy for a little while.

We are working on our schedule of shows for 2024. It will be published shortly and if still a far cry from the pre-Covid years, when we attended 25 to 30 shows a year, we are definitely not giving up on the chance to meet a few of you here and there throughout the year!

As always, during 2024, we will be awaiting ideas and suggestions from you, so do not be afraid of contacting us, and please regularly visit our FB page as this is the place where we offer the first glimpses of what’s to come in our growing ranges!

The ‘Big One’ is now just around the corner… Scale Model Challenge beckons! RetrokiT will be there, as usual one could say as we have been attending to this show since the late naughties now. It was of course a lot more ‘intimate’ than it is now, certainly the the best show we have had the pleasure of trading at ever since our own beginnings! If you have not been there before, do make the effort, it is WELL worth it!

We’ll be releasing at least two new releases at this show, a special edition Hallowe’en boxing of some of our famed Bananaaas, boxing that will be including three older releases that have been OOP for several years already and one brand new Bananaaa! (Pennybananaaa! for those who need to know..). The latter will not be available separately until late 2024, when we release Part.2 of our Hallowe’en Bananaaas series. Until then, we plan to re-release a number of OOP Bananaaas in special boxings also containg each time a brand new Bananaaa!

Talking of re-releases, we will also see our famed ‘Love at First Sight’ kit coming back at SMC and it will be re-launched alongside a Xmas version of it (Love at First Sight 2). All those ‘SMC’ releases will be made available on pre-order soon on our website so that those not able to come to the Netherlands this october can still get their kits.

Three new releases this September, all concerning our still growing 1/144 aircraft range. A long-overdue F4U-1 cockpit detail set, a Mirage F.1 ‘iraqi’ fuel tank and a set of deflated wing glove bags for the Revell Tomcats are now available from our website. More F-14 goodies are on their way but the end of the year will also see our TA-4J conversion set being re-released. We should be well into 30 new releases and re-releases for this year when 2024 dawns on us.

Two more items join the RetroTracks Chibi catalogue today, with the Medium Tank M3 Conversion Kit and associated early-style boogies and road wheels. This range has grown very rapidly and we now have about 50 conversions available, to fit most ‘World War Toons’ kits so far released by Meng. We have a few more coming up but we will take a small break during July when we expect no new release, or nothing major in any case, but work continues on new patterns for the future.

The show in Mons, Belgium, mid- to late-August, should see us release a few new items and we still have plenty other new releases and some re-releases planned for the rest of the year.

Let it be known, from May 24, 2023 until (inclusive) May 31, 2023, it is 4 kits for the price of 3 (the cheaper of the four items is free) over the whole RetroTracks Chibi catalogue, including our forthcoming Medium Tank M3 conversion kit (RTE056, €20) and our Early Medium tank M3 boogies & road wheels set (RTE057, €7, including 2 complete boogies).

Please include whenever possible the reference numbers of the items you wish to order, along with your postal delivery address so that we can get back to you with an offer an expected shipping time. Our website is not ‘equipped‘ to deal with this type of special offer, however any internet order received during that week with a minimum of 4 RetroTracks Chibi items will still be eligible and we will contact those people to give them the good news! Payments will be possible via Paypal or bank transfer to a bank accounts either in the UK (Sterling) or Belgium (Euros). Please note that the Medium Tank M3 conversion kit an the M3 boogies/wheels set are being cast at the moment and that this may therefore delay shipment by a few days, but we will by then have a better idea of probable time of shipment. Oh yeah.. if your wish list includes 8 items, then you get the 2 cheapest free, and so on..!

We really like getting feedback about our releases, old or new. Having for over 10 years now designed cockpit detail sets for a great many 1/144 aircraft kits, we were made aware that we should have released a lot more sets of ejection seats that could be used in kits that have not, for a reason or another, received the ‘RetroWings treatment’. And so, starting next month, we will try to remedy to this situation. Talking to you Guys (and Gals!) is important to us, sometimes we do not see the obvious and those exchanges, be them face to face at shows, on Facebook or via e-mails are important to keep us meeting your expectations and demands. So, do not hesitate getting in touch with us!

The end of March 2023, as promised, brings us our latest World War Toons conversion kit, illustrated above. More of those conversions are being prepared (M75, M37, StuG III ausf.G to name but three), but we are not forgetting our other ranges and we have quite a neat series of other new products still to be released this year. After a few re-releases, our first new releases of 2023 are now available from this site. We are planning a rather large number of new releases for this new year, and those should encompass most, if not all, of our ranges. We are always keen to hear what YOU would like to see RetrokiT release next, feel free to drop us a line. We have in the past met many such requests!

Show-wise, we are still only planning to attend a handful of shows during 2023, a trend that should continue in the future as time remains a limited ressource. Our calendar page is up-to-date, have a look at it!
