Berliet GPE Tank Transporter

Description

The Berliet GPE4 tank transporter was designed to recover and transport a number of light to medium tanks operated by the French army during the 1930s.  Following testing of the pre-production variants GPE2 (1 built) and GPE3 (2 built), the GPE4 was ordered into production but only about twenty-nine were operational before the end of the French campaign.  We believe this is the first time this particular variant is kitted in any scale.
